It was bound to happen. The bad guys had gotten the drop on UltraGirl and now she's tied down spread-eagle in a seedy motel room bed, left alone to struggle. While UG hasn't been told anything about the predicament she is in, she knows that if she doesn't escape, she will likely be in serious trouble. In addition to that, the city will also be in serious trouble as the evil-doers will have taken over in their mad scramble for control. But what can UG do? Her power belt and boots are on the bed with her, but with her ankles tied down tight and her wrists tied apart, there was no way for her to reach them, no way for her to get hold of them and get her powers back. She strains, fights, struggles, but seemingly there is nothing to be done. Is this how UG goes out, not with a bang, but with a pathetic whimper left alone in a nowhere place, gagged, tied, and helpless? Or will she find a way to escape her situation? Stay tuned!
