UltraGirl (Dresden) is called by The Commissioner to bring in Dr. Nemesis. After flying across town and confronting the villain, she is captured and bound and gagged to a chair after Dr. Nemesis takes the heroine's power belt. After a ride across town to another hideout, UltraGirl is bound spread eagle outside as a storm approaches. With the storm raging and turning red, Dr. Nemesis reluctantly frees UltraGirl, returning her power belt to give her a chance to stop the storm. Before she can take to the skies, the storm turns into an energy wave and wipes Earth out of existence.
